Fal is a Registered Occupational Therapist in Hong Kong with over 20 years of experience in paediatrics practice. Her clinical experience has seen her working with and supporting  a wide range of children in Hong Kong. Her extensive clinical experience includes children with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Dysfunction of Sensory Integration, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Difficulties, Handwriting issues, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy and Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Genetic and Chromosomal Disorders, Down syndrome and Global Developmental Delays.

As well as her extensive clinical experience working with children, she has also worked closely and effectively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that a coordinated client – centred approach is implemented. She has also worked at Watchdog Early Education Centre to provide assessment and therapy for children who have Special-Education Needs via outreach programme and centre-based training.

She has previously worked in a number of special schools, assisted with research programs and taught in the undergraduate OT program at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. During her sessions she applied a variety of approaches, using Sensory Integration and Neuro – developmental ideas, Therapeutic Listening and group therapy focusing on social skill development.

Fal shares Integrate’s vision in that she values parent-therapist collaboration and uses a client – centred approach, where she utilises sensory integration as the prime frame of reference. She is equipped with the knowledge of various intervention techniques and modalities within its scope of practise.
